Black/Red Fig

These must be the most Black-Red figs that I have
ever, ever, seen on my little property - my guess, it has
something to do with our recent local crazy weather...

Looks like VDB to me. Mine looked very much like those too.


It looks like my negronne and Vista. They are coming out really dark also. however my Sal's is not as dark as usual.

These figs are VdB.

While those shown did not split, a few days earlier;
I harvested some more that split 2-3 all the way
from eye to neck. Go FIGure!

I agree, it has to be the weather! I'm now getting figs on several trees that are completely different from the earlier ones that ripened. It is hard to believe they are the same figs from the same tree. I also noticed that the skins are much thicker.  Alma is so different I would never recognize it by the fruit. Some still taste good, others don't.
