Starting to swell up. Last year it produced a couple figs, but they were too late. I just have to protect from critters and hopefully I'll get my first taste of this one.

LOL Of course I will, provided, the critters don't beat me to it. I did move it and protected the fruit with an inverted flower pot so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. 

Picked it a day early as we are getting rain all day today and very high winds. Taste was excellent, very rich and sweet

Thanks Rafed, I wish I had a better camera so you could really see it. It is a pretty fig, nice mid range color with cracked skin and a really rich taste. I'm still hopefull that your start will make it. It has a green leaf bud now.
