OK, so I saw a shampoo commercial for Dove. They advertise that their product has "Blue Fig Essence." The bottle has a picture of a fig that is almost cobalt blue outside and red inside. Guess Dove's lab and ad people do not frequent this board. Aaaaahhh, what a heady fragrance that fabled blue fig emits.

LOL, I haven't seen the commercial but I'll have to watch for it....that's funny.  =)

Yes, the Madison Avenue crowd is still selling the sizzle, and not the steak.  I guess "Blue Fig Essence" sounds better than "Brun Turquie-Eau de Toilette"

I wonder what would happen if you put blue dye in the water... I know that's one way to get blue flowers, maybe it would give you a blue fig! :-)

No need to invent one here is one with a type of blue bloom on its skin.

We have this shampoo, and it smells nothing like a fig. 
They probably used Blue Ischia to produce this. lol

Use the wrong variety and your head could smell like cat pee.
