I had a few ripe figs of the Blue Giant this summer. The size was very large. However it had no taste. I've had Blue Giant while in Texas and they tasted okay. The flavor was mild but still good. Not sure if the tree needs more time or what. I have mine in a container and this year was a bad year for many figs. Anyone have had a better experience with this variety?
Hi Bass, I have this one also. Got it from George NJ.I have mixed feelings on this fig.Last year this fig was a keeper, but this summer it wasn't that good in taste. Stay Well, Anthony
