Bordissott Negra Rimada

I bookmarked this topic so I will update when I have ripe fruit...

Now I have shot some pics of my unripe fruit...

I have another BNR that grows bushy...

And this is my smallest one that has not reached producing size yet :)

I started to grow them from these cuttings in November last year. One cutting I divided into two so I have 3 plants at the moment. You can see MP's handwriting next to the cuttings so I have no doubt about its genuineness but we will see if ripe.

My b.n.r. was a slower and it didn't help that I kept 8 figs on it for a foot and half tall tree. So I know it's productive. It's just starting to put out 3 branches so I might airlayer soon. If successful, I might start auctions or go to ebay.

Beautiful fruit! Looks very similar to panache tiger in coloring.

Norbert obviously you had very good luck with those cuttings but man they look like they came from the Titanic how old is the one in the first picture?

So today it's first fruit day...

Way to go, looks great.

I don't know what it is, but I love those striped figs.

Well?  How does it taste?

Very nice.
What happened to the leaves of your tree?

Wow, I guess it shows how genetically diverse figs can be.
Does the green ones turn purple when they ripen?

And another one :)

And the leaves...
There are a lot of leaves on the top I will take some leaf pics :)
