Bourjasotte de Noir vs Bourjasotte de Grise

Does this Fig share the same flavor profile as its lighter cousin Bourjasotte Grise similar to the Col de Dame family? Wondering does it share the same rich strawberry flavor? Basically is color the only thing seperatibg these 2?

Dude there are threads explaining the various Bourjasottes and Barnisottes and their relationships and variants. Try the search function. I would go for the Gris but it is harder to find than the Noir, which is fairly commonplace.

I have searched the Galaxy far and wide...not really a lot to go on, definitely no reference for the comparison of the 2 figs...however i have found that people are confusing the Bourjasotte noir fig with others, especially the Barnisottes... Another interesting read is people here on the forum have reported Bourjasotte Noir is the same as Violette de Sollise...ahhh the fig world can be so confusing.
