Good day, here's a fig that you don't hear too much about. Why? Because it takes years for the figs are edible. Bourjassotte Grise. My Bourjassotte Grise is about 5 years old or older. The same is true for Pastiliere and Rouge de Bourdeaux. These 3 trees take years before they stop dropping figs. I planted it in my orchard 3 years ago. I don't winterize it at all, but I use to. It grows very fast and is one fig that has to be cut way back yearly. I sent cuttings to some members last year. It's a good fig. The figs are sweet and they get better every year.
