Breaksfast 8-17-14

Here are some figs from my morning harvest.
At 200 and 300 o'clock are Genevese Nero, large green at about 1000 o'clock is Troiano Calabrese,at about 500 o'clock is Valle Negra, the medium size yellow to the left of Genevese Nero is Isbat An Naja,
there is also Marsellies Black vs at about 1100 o'clock, and a couple of Malta Black at 900 o'clock. I have already made individual post on each of these about taste. Enjoy.

Very nice. My breakfast was the last of the blackberries right of the bushes and the beginning of the elderberries as  high as I could reach.

It's nice to see these figs all in one place for a visual comparison. which do you favor this season?

Dale, thanks for looking and your comments. My favorite so far this season is a toss up between Maltese Falcon, Genovese Nero and Smith. I have
made individual posts about them already. You can go  to   http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/search?searchid=34050450&sort=date&order=desc&trail=25
and view them.

Congrats Mike. I am sure after eating all these high fibre goodies, the "system" pump can take a break. LOL.

So this is what Sunday mornings are like at your house... Feel like adopting a 30 year old?!

That's a very good variety for breakfast.

That is a fine Sunday morning.  You are a blessed man Mike

That's awesome, Mike.  Thanks for sharing.

Looking good!!!

Nice selection! Thank you for sharing the photos.
What is your opinion on the Troiano Calabrese?

Leon, this is what I said about it this year after some rain. I just had another one and it was slightly better. It will
have to improve a lot or it will go to Martin. LOL

This is really a blah tasting fig but it could also be due to some rain while ripening. It needs to get better soon. About a 5 on 1-10 scale.
