Breba drop on LSU Gold?

Yesterday I noticed that the brebas on my LSU Gold were gone. About 60 or so just vanished. Nothing on the ground just gone. They were there last Wednesday.

Any Thoughts?

Alien abduction. Well, I suppose it could have been raccoons/ squirrels (if you believe in those sort of things).

Charles, the same thing happens here at my location. Most of the time, there is no sign of them on the ground especially if they were small to start with. How big were yours before they disappeared?

I definitely live in a no breba zone.

Funny you should mention this today.  My 2nd year, in ground, LSU Tiger had 4 small brebas.  They were gone yesterday morning. Couldn't find them on the ground.  Perhaps I'm crazy and only imagined them.   Fig mirage?

Welcome to the club, mine are all gone also. In fact all of my trees have dropped their breba except my Cajun Gold. It did drop some but retained about 50%.

You need a little hound dog. The four-footed fig bandits have fled the yard since we got him. True, the first year the puppy was himself hell on the bushes, but now that he is a little older he does not chew on anything, and he sure keeps the pests out of the yard. The squirrels will not even climb down off the fence now ;-)

I had 7 on my negronne and 7 on my colar, some started to swell nicely and then some stood still.  There was 5 left on my negronne and 3 on my colar, some just were malformed and some just didn't seem like they would grow, one on the black madeira go to a pea size and just turned black like it was burnt, they didn't have too much water or not enough, not too cold or too hot, I think the winter cold hurt them more than anything in my case.  Other years cool spring temperatures have knocked off everything when they were the size of a peach pit.
