Breba figs?

I have a Desert King.  It's nice to have a fig that produces so early here in the northeast.  So I was thinking that maybe another similar style fig would be a nice addition.  This time I'd be looking for a dark fig.  Looking online I saw an old Belleclare list with Fico Rosso that might be a good choice.  Does anyone know where I could get one or make a recommendation for something else that would fit the bill.  Thanks..Tony

Tony,

Hardy Chicago should be a good fig to grow in your zone and easily available.

Hi ajv73,
Good dark figs coming early, find a San Pedro type . But they are not easily available ...
In the really dark shades uniferas , Pastiliere and "Ronde de Bordeaux" are here the most easy to find here .
In the Brown shades: Did you try a BrownTurkey ? a Brunswick ( that I still don't have but starting to lurk for )?

Thanks to both of you. I have a Hardy Chicago and a RDB.  The HC will give fruit this year, the RDB is still young.  I was thinking there are other figs, like desert king, that only give breda crop in my climate.  Wondering if there are others like that - as the desert king gave figs weeks ago (which is way earlier than others).  It would be nice to have another variety that gave such a large amount of early fruit.  But maybe I'm wrong?
