My sals el gave one breba a couple weeks ago and hasnt ripened at all. The are many figlets growing on the tree now and im wondering if i should just take it off at this point or do i leave it on and wait for it to mature?

Many times the breba crop is inferior to the main crop, but not always. Even if it doesn't taste quite as good as the ones that come in august/september, it still might be worth it to just have something ripen in july, just to give you a tempting taste. I don't know how big your tree is, but one breba probably isn't going to make much difference to the tree for veg growth or ripening the other figs. So I'd say leave it on there and see if it's any good. Then make a note so you know what to do next year in the same situation.

I'd leave it too. Can't see one fig slowing the tree down to much and I'd be anxious to try it even if it were inferior.
