Here are some of my figs that have brebas.  A couple only have a very few and probably only because these trees were very lightly pruned this year.  They have never produced brebas before (Alma, Battaglia Green for example).  My Conadria is the most loaded and Marseilles has the next heaviest crop forming.

Hi Henry,

Both the 'Native Black' and the "Italian Black' have brebas on them.  I had several others I noticed brebas on while I was in Houston last weekend, but I didn't make a note of which ones other than Nazarti, Conadria, and an unknown.  The last one is the first container grown fig I found with RKN.  It did not have any treatment other than a root pruning and repotting in fresh growing mix.  This was the first tree to break dormancy, has more growth on it than other figs and also has the most brebas of trees its size.  Hopefully, that is a harbinger of things to come.

Add UCR 143-36

I took (just this one plant) out of storage about 3 weeks ago and I have 2 figs growing on it already.   I've seriously considered clipping one or both of them as I would prefer more vegetative growth (especially given it has 2 leaves at this point) rather than fruit.

The sunlight available to it is limited as it is sitting in a south facing window, behind 3 passion flowers (though most of their leaves have dropped).

Putting it outside is definitely not an option yet.  :)

Just beginning to form brebas here. Peter's Honey has them up and down the limb. Even celeste has two on each limb, paired on the very tip of the branch (I assume they will fall off later as Celeste is not known for its brebas?).

Notice the Celeste brebas are on a little bit of a stem?

My Hunt from Paradise Nursery (apparently the last one they had) has a dozen or more Brebas and is only about 20 inches tall.
This is the first Spring that I have figs in the ground (planted last fall). It is so exciting because of the 37 different varieties, only 3 show signs of being "iffy"..... so far, I'm lucky.
This is a cool place to share info....
Thanks and take care,
Christy
