Brebas fall off.

Does anyone know why my BT in pot has dropped all its brebas recently? The plant is inside a greenhouse, it has not frozen at all. The figlets started off real good though, got bigger together with the opening of the leaf buds end of march.
I am starting to think that it needed repotting badly, because when I removed from the old pot, it was just a big chunk of roots with some dirt between them. I don't know if that makes sense.

The shock of transplanting, excess heat and cold can trigger fruit drop.   If your up-potting was done prior to the jettisoning, that may have been a contributing factor; or a day of high temps in the greenhouse.

Actually I transplanted it after the fruit had dropped.

Ученые NBS Ялтинские провели исследование и обнаружили. Бребен много разновидностей инжира не созревают и преждевременно опадают. Он должен просто знать.

Hi,
Lets assume that you have a true BT and not another random strain that requires pollination.
Then breba dropping would be due to lack of water, or a cold snap - if the tree lost them all, I would blame it on cold weather.

I myself lost 2 of 3 brebas on my potted (assumed true) BT and this for me was from cold weather and possibly not enough watering (those damn things don't speak ! ).
A bigger pot helps with watering, so up potting is a good move . I potted mine up too and she now is left with one breba .

I am not sure at all it really is a BT. Last year I managed to keep the brebas and this year they dropped in more or less the same conditions.
Could be a sudden temperature drop during night, although there is never any frost inside my greenhouse.

Hopefully, now it's in a bigger pot, they won't drop next year. And there still is the fall crop off course.

Brebas frequently drop on most varieties.  Some varieties show brebas but they drop all of them after a little while.  Some varieties show some brebas but drop most of them, maybe keeping 0 or a small number each year.  Some varieties (almost) never show any brebas.  Still others, like Desert King, tend to keep most or all brebas.
