brebas forming?

I have never had any brebas on my inground figs. But this is the first winter I put some potted figs in a heated shed. Now they are outside and looking great.

Three of them look to be producing brebas: VdB, Negronne, and Battagalia Green. Does that sound right or am I just imagining something?

Good!
I am getting 1 main crop fig forming on my Atreano... I hoped to see a breba, but oh well...

Many breba forming on Battaglia in my greenhouse. Last year they all fell off, but I expect better results this year.

Hi GeneDaniels,
Here in my Zone7, the weather is too cold-mild for fig trees to wake up or start the brebas for real... Although some trees expose some little brebas bumps .
Until May, you can have brebas popping ... Patience, Spring is waking up ... Hopefully .
How about your Brunswick ? Brunswick should be bifera . So she should expose some brebas for you.

I have brebas on a number of figs this year.. but will have to make a list when it's light outside.

My Brunswick is planted in the ground, so it is dormant like all the other inground figs. The ones showing brebas are the ones that were in pots, sheltered in my shed over the winter. The lows the next few nights are supposed to drop into the mid 30s here. But rather than doing the fig shuffle, I just covered them with upside down water barrels. That should keep them safe and those brebas intact.

I am really looking forward to trying some brebas this year. Just the thought of having figs to try in 80 days makes my mouth water now ;-)

Two potted (one is planted in ground with the 10 gal pot)Brunswick both loaded with brebas. I could post some pics later. PH has the largest and best looking brebas so far. I just can't wait!!!
