Brebas in Pac.NW

I am interested in hearing about varieties that produce good brebas
on the coast from San Francisco to Vancouver, BC. Are there any
cultivars from the U of Cal @ Davis that produce as well as the Desert King?

Osborne Prolific & latarrula aka Ital. Honey does well here in Vancouver, BC. Worth trialing are
Conadria, Dauphine & Granthams Royal.

I don't know if any will produce as well as DK. I have heard LSU Scott's yellow may give it competition but I have yet to get my hands on it. It's on my wish list.
Negronne gives some brebas, as does Brunswick.
I am trialing many other varieties, as are others in my area. It will be a few years before I can comment on them.

I would be trying Narragansett 5334. Has a breba crop and the main crop ripen well in cooler beach areas of San Diego.

I did a lot of research on San Pedro figs then made a list of prospects based ONLY on the
possibility of a breba crop. Cool summers are a bummer! Some prospects are: Lampeira, Vista,
Monstrueuse, Brooklyn White, Arab Market,  Black Spanish and Lebanese White. The more
foreign-sounding name the better. I'm hoping to conduct a trial of obscure cultivars
and hopefully one can prove to be ALMOST as productive as our Desert King.

So far Lampeira has been a failure. Vista & Monstruese also did not deliver in my zone. There are others worth trialing like Gentile, Filancciano & Ariane. Longue d'Aout, Brooklyn Wht & Qtr Pounder has a small breba crop. There is a fig tree by a Greek church in Vancouver --- green fig with red interior and it has a good breba crop. Taste wise not my liking.
