My first fig from a 2 year old tree. It started to split a little so I picked it. Very nice, rich taste. I also have Brogiotto Bianco. Unfortunately it dropped all figs the first 2 years. Mother trees are in Italy.
Nice looking fig. Will put this one on my wish list.
KK, Thanks for posting these pictures and flavor descriptions. I have a young tree with a couple of fruits. I doubt they will ripen, but will leave them on and see what happens.
On this sort of fig lot of contradictory information. What he is a true Brogiotto Nero?
Hi Vladis,Is "Brogiotto" the Italian word for "Bourgeassotte" ?
Привет, я не знаю. Различные детские и частные лица в Италии показывают на фото не похожи инжира.
That would be: "Hi, I do not know. Various children and individuals in Italy show on the photo does not look like figs." From Vladis
Nice looking fig. I used to have this variety, Brogiotto Nero. (Or maybe it was Brogiotto Nero Romano). But it didn't survive one of the past winters. Nice pictures!Mike central NY state, zone 5a
