Just picked a few breba figs from my dad's Brooklyn white. His tree is loaded with brebas this year. The tree is about 15' high.  These figs were very large, and tasted excellent. The skin was so soft and the fig just melts in your mouth.

John, Yes this is the same Brooklyn White. It's one of my favorite tasting white figs, the hotter the temperature, the sweeter this fig is. 

I got one of these last fall off of you, Love the look of that fig, it is in ground and I hope it winters well Thanks again

Looks good Bass!  Mine is doing well.  I have one fig getting ripe now.  I'm planing the tree in the ground this Fall.  cheers

Bass, I have your Brooklyn White also. It was planted outside in Connecticut, zone 6 last fall. Came through without any winter damage. Of the five different varieties we planted last fall, it is one of the most productive, this year.

Hi Bass. Thanks for the information.  With our long warm summers here in the North Georgia Piedmont, these figs are going to be wonderful.  And since our families are from Brooklyn, this is the perfect fig for us.

Bass, yesterday I tsted my first ripe BW.  I had one earlier this year that soured on the tree.  This one was my second from this tree.  The taste was superb!  This tree is a keeper.  This Fall I will plant this tree in the ground.  Great tree.  Thanks!

Glad you got some good ones. They don't like the heavy rain when they're ripe. I knew it was a keeper from the time I collected it. 

By the way this is not my hand, I hired a model, I ended up giving her the fig in her hand as a her earning.
