I'm starting to experience an unknown condition on the new growth of my potted figs. On only some of my new plants the very new growth (leaves) are a brownish color and seem to be lacking something. Water is not an issue since they are set up using a drip irrigation system. I thought it might be fig rust but some plants seem to improve themselves. I've tried to post some pictures but file sizes are too large so I'll continue to find away to post pictures. Anyone have any thoughts?

I have it happening in many right now. What I have noticed is that the leaf slowly turns green as it grows. I think the extreme heat causes it.

I've been reading about a type of mite that causes this type of condition. I have about 6 plants which exhibit this condition. I'm going to try using neem oil sprayed on the top and bottom of the leaves and see if the condition improves. I'll let you know in a few weeks how it works.
