Congrats!
It is difficult to tell when breba figs are ripe. I have been visiting my Peter's Honey, Fico Bianco, Neveralla, Melanzana MM twice a day. Picked some yesterday for a gift and they weren't quite ready. A heart breaker. Will a fig lover ever learn?
The usual way to tell if ripe is wait for the fig to droop and see a drop of honey dripping from the ostiole but that doesn't always happen.
So what I do is gently touch it and if it feels very soft around the neck and seems to leave a fingerprint on the fig then it should be very close.
