In southern British Columbia, Canada close to the coast -- not many varieties would perform well. The best so far is Desert King. It gives a nice big crop. The others like Latarrula & Osborne Prolific do give a fair breba crop but nothing compared to Desert King. Most varieties would have a productive main crop but few get to ripen nicely.
Ronde de Bordeaux so far does ripen its main crop but again nothing comes close to DK that ripens a large breba crop. Definitely a green house help. Hence before one rush out to accumulate variants, best to check with forum members in your zone what works well. Otherwise one will end up with fewer than a dozen ripe main crop figs. As for breba figs, the biggest threat are cold snaps. It will cause brebas to drop prematurely.
