Brunswick from Jason

Very sweet and just a little figgy. If this isn't the same as Paradiso they are kissing cousins.

@Jason - did you see my PM?

Got the PM!  This looks similar to the first full-sized one I picked.

Here is one that I cut off a day or two before you came (note the honey oozing from eye):

@ Jason I forgot to include that this morning when I picked it that it had honey oozing also.

Good lack with this nice tree Mike, Jason is the man!

Jason, are all the fruit on your MBVS that small?

Bob -Zone 5b/6a Connecticut

I love this forum. I get to see what I have to look forward to being able to see all the pics everyone posts.
Since I have become addicted to figs( thanks to Eden) I keep buying different varieties buy the pics I see here
so thank you everyone. I have what I believe is a Brunswick it was sold to me as lsu purple but I looked a some pics of
Leaves and not even close. After so research help from Eden, and he forum I belive it is a brunswick.
Hopefully. Guess I will see next year.

Jffrandall where in Ga? Maybe we can compare my Brunswick with
Yours next year.

Hey Bob - no, MBVS is not normally that small.  Most have been about 50% larger than that, but ... not sure what's up with my tree.  Interior looks correct, leaf looks correct, but this is the first year it has produced fruit, and all of them are smallish and more yellowish-brown than brownish-purple.  We are assuming the scion I got was labeled correctly, and this is truly a MBVS.  I have no reason to not trust the intermdiate source for the cuttings.

Mike, I am in Lawrenceville Ga. I would love to compare them still new to the fig craze but trying to get as many varieties as possible. My wife thinks I am crazy.

Randall, not to far from Newnan. Maybe we can hook up and talk figs. I would imagine most wives would think their fig loving husbands are crazy.

Could the leaves be more beautiful than the fig?  Very nice.

LoL Mike and Jeff

My wife thinks I love my figs more than her.

Yes Mike,,that sounds like a good idea. Always wanting to learn from those who are willing to share there knowledge.

Eden,
My wife keeps asking me where all these different fig trees keep coming from. Lol

LoL. Just tell her you got it from me I will beck you up.
