Brunswick Harvest in December.

Hi all.
I had to pick this one a little early but it was fun doing it. there are still two more to go.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the video.  Makes me think maybe I should have brought my smaller plants inside my house for the winter instead of putting them in the shed.

I tried this last year with a Hardy chicago that had started a fig in September and I got to eat it in late December.

My other figs are in a cold dark room right now for the winter. It stays about 5 to 10*C in there (it's under my basement stairs and vented to the outside with two 3" vents). They woke up mid April though.

Thanks Daniel.
Your pictures look delicious.
For sure I'll let mine ripen longer.

Yep, I'll give an update.
The window faces exactly south.
I have visited his site but not lately though.

Brunswick is a very under-rated fig, imo. I was pleasantly surprised this past fall at how good they were. The tree was scheduled to be culled but will now be one of my favorites.

Agree with Frank. I've never had brunswick but my leb unk which seems to be in the brunswick family is tied for #1 here.

This one fell off a couple days ago. The bottom half was really good but the top half wasn't ripe yet. Maybe the soil  dried out in the pot a little to often.

Dang, I'm keeping my little guy now too.
