My Atreano from Rolling River is larger with a  red interior also. The leaves are a dead on match. Different climate & soil maybe. I know there has been some controversy in the past about two different figs named Atreano.

I like it.  It grows great for me in a pot but in my opinion its a little bland tasting, same with atreano.  But its hard to get rid of because of its productivity.

Very interesting all the comments about the taste. Mine has never been bland unless I got restless and picked to early! My kadota breba were very tasty!

As an update to my original post, BR did send me a replacement fig for the Panache that was really a VdB. Too bad it also is NOT a Panache. I called them, emailed them, no response.

Last summer Home Depot was selling Panache so I bought a beautiful looking tree. It too is NOT a Panache. The fruit did ripen and were excellent so I didn't return it. ;-) It's a green fig with dark red pulp. Maybe the HD is a Reverse?

I finally found a real Panache at a local nursery this month and it's the biggest tree I have, a good 4 1/2'-5'. It had 1 fruit on it and I can see the striping on the limbs so I know this one is real. Finally!
