Calabria/Chiappetta

This is Art's. I am hoping for warm weather this week. It looks like it will be a bigger fig. It is already the size of a golf ball at the bottom.
Thanks for looking ,
Bugs

Looks good.  Not sure where you're located, but they're talking about a warmer week ahead in the northeast on weather.com.  Wish my Chiappetta Unk had figs as close to ready as those in your pictures!  Good luck.

p.s. <edit> ah, I see you're in Pittsburgh... looks good for warmer weather starting Tuesday or so.  Good luck!

Bugs, On the mother tree they seem to get darker. But it is a nice sized fig.

I my looking for them to get darker with age. They just started to turn dark yesterday, they have a ways to go. About a week, I hope.

Maybe when they get older they will get more purple. Mr. Chiappetta was surprised when I told him my figs were more reddish than purple/black.

Very nice.  Looking forward to seeing them when they are ripe.

Art, mine too, and some of them are compressed.

Was sweet, jam like and not to wet. I like it better with out the skin.
Enjoy,
Bugs
