My wife found this ad in an old(1891) ladies magazine. If this took care of all the ailments it claimed, it must of had some powerful ingredients. Thought it was interesting. I'm still working to get the pictures right, sorry!

Martin, $1.00 back in 1891 had to be a lot of money! Maybe it was full of Cocaine like many of those "snake oil" type medicines were back then. Maybe that was the "healthy and agreeable" ingredient! LOL!!! No doubt it cured the constipation(figs), but probably made you feel so good, you didn't care!(just guessing of course).
