Well today i call edible landscaping and mentioned to the lady who answered that i bought a Sal's that was not listed on their site about 4 to 5 years ago and she said she was there at that time taking orders so i asked here about the parent tree she just said without further detail that Michael the owner recieved it from a friend. I did not ask her anymore questions but i did send a To whom it may concern email to see what else might be revealed. If i get the same or another answer i'll just post it here.Martin
Well well!it does appear that EL,has other sources than their own trees. In this case the puzzle of Sal's fig is even more complicated, and unsure. What is good is that mine is a good producer,so i am pleased. It looks that it will never be resolved.
Now that i can post pictures when the figs ripe on that tree i'll post some pictures,if someone has a actual tree from bellecare it would be fun to compare if it hasn't been done in the past. Can't wait to eat some though as i see more and more pictures of ripe figs, without looking in a journal i started last year i think mine are going to be a little late as we had a bad cold spring and they had a slow start.Martin
