The only experience I had with tea is trying to grow dud seeds I got from ebay.
Your tea plants look nice.

I got these seeds from eBay I did shave down the outside of the seed before planting

They came straight from china

Almost all of my seeds floated after soaking them.

I know there is a commercial tea grower near Charleston, SC but otherwise I know nothing about tea -- but would like to. I'd love it if you kept us informed.

one green world sales real nice plants. I got five plants. You need a lot of bushes to make tea.still fun to do though. have fun.

Just an FYI for those who are interested in tea -- new independent study found high levels of pesticides in 91% of the tea sold by Celestial Seasonings.

I've grown it to flowering, however then killed it by leaving it outside in the cold.

I'm getting a plant too.  You have to toast or steam the leaves to use them.  Let me know how yours does.
