Can a heat wave help main crop that was formed a month ago?

My fig plants started embryos in early June and some are now a medium grape size. We are having a heat wave these days that may last for most part of this week. It will help push breba toward ripening (& I can see its signs). My question is about the main crop if all this heat will help the main crop in some ways (because it is way too early for ripening of main crop).

Akram heat always a good thing in colder zones .
Im thinking the plants you mention with breba will slow down the main crop development though in the colder zones .
I knock off breba to help main crop develop or they fall off in early spring cause of the cold before i get chance to remove them.
Last season i got 1 total breba i missed looked like a million dollars but taste was like a wooden nickel compared to main crop.

I have to think heat is always a good thing, as long as you can keep the tree hydrated. In desert areas that can be a challenge.

Thanks Martin.
I do have some plants that don't have brebas but do have a month+ old main crop and wonder if this heat in their early life can be helpful in some ways for the fruit itself.
The heat wave did cost me three newly rooted plants. I should have known better. Any plants with one leaf or slow growth  indicating not enough roots should have been taken to shaded safe place. I did not move them to safety and the plants with one leaf or two leaves and slow growth dried up.
Others should take precaution for the weak plants.

Akram similar here had some on for a good month and some others about 6 weeks (hardy chicago) a little early because of the warmer weather we had very early and then late spring .
BUT the cool spell high 40s we had in spring made my Maderia die back to the soil level and set back my kalamata black which is only just putting out small itsy bitsy figs now darn it so maybe next season for Kalamata and hopefully Maderia makes it thru winter its now fragile.
Yes im sure the warm spell will help much better for our figs as i expect a earlier main crop on a few of my trees.
Sorry to hear about your newly rooted ones.

Also i did not forget about you, maybe later this season or for sure when plant is dormant as your first inline.  ; )

Lucky guys. My summer just started yesterday, I mean some fig weather. Its been cool & it was excellent for the newly transplated plants to gal pots. Today was 26*C/78*F and expected to hit the 30*C/86*F by friday. Yahoooo. My main crop is way behind.

Dieseler, my Blk Maderia is a slow growing too. I have started boosting it with MG. Its about 18" tall with 3 penny size figs. I just want to sample how good it is.

Yes, Yes, Yes, heat wave very good for your fig plants. My larger trees are spitting out figs very quickly this year, What wonderful fig weather this year 2010 knock wood.  Ciao
