Can anyone confirm this is a Brown Turkey or help ID this fig

This is a unknown I picked up. Some leaves look like brown turkey, but most don't look like what I have seen The fig itself looks like a brown turkey. I have never tasted a brown turkey, but this fig tasted the way everyone describes a Brown turkey. It tasted very watery with no flavor accept a sweet light taste.

It sure doesn't look like my brown turkey leaves but the taste sounds the same LOL. Mine don't get the red spot on the eye either I don't think.

Looks like BT to me.

Thanks guys. I figured it was a BT. I checked those pics first, but I still wasn't totally sure. Not I feel more confident.

I think it is a "Southern BT"

71GTO: Your fig is Blue Giant. Thanks for posting.

That fig,is California Brown Turkey,as is called in Ca,but in fact is Genoa Black,as is called in the rest of the world.
It is  watery and mediocre tasting in Your place(Northern NJ),because the climate is wrong for this cultivar in NJ.
It needs a looooooong Hot Summer to ripe properly, and be delicious, and that is not easy to find on the east coast.

Thanks everyone! It looks like all the suggestions seem to be close or the same fig. Either way it looks like this isn't a fig for me to waste space on. Herman is black genoa a strain of brown turkey or viseversa? I couldn't find much on it.

Yes looks like the infamous Black Genoa grown ever were in Austraila for its very heavy crops but if it rains very watery and bland.

It is Genoa Black, nothing to do with Brown Turkey, not from Turkey, but from Genoa Italy.
Some people in Ca ,misnamed it,as Ca Brn T,after they imported the plant from Australia.
It seem to be very good in Australia, and of course in Genoa Italy, but NJ,is none of them, when it come about rain,in the Summer.
It is also very good in Ca,if left to ripe properly on the tree, but again Ca,is not NJ.
