In Greece there are a lot of varieties of figs but none can compare to the Cypriot variety of Vartika figs.

That is a good looking fig! The inside resembles Stella but I don't think its the same. Do you know from what part of Greece it came from?

The figs remind me of posted pictures of Vasilika Sika. More pictures of the dominant leaves would probably be helpful. I have a Stella which has similar looking figs, but the Stella leaves are similar to Brunswick.

Very interesting greek fig. This looks different that most greek figs I have seen in my area, def looks a lot more moist. 
Would be interested in a cutting or two if you can get some.

Figs4life:Any of those work if they are healthy plants and if you Winterprotect,the best you can.
With the harsh Winter we had,my loses are minimal,most plants have green buds at base,and will grow back in a couple of month,this very year.

Jafos:I have Vasilika Sika white from Greece,and it is exactly like the first pix you are showing ,fruit leaf,interior,except it is greenish yellow on outside.
I do agree with you that the fig in the main topic
is totally different than any you provided pictures.
First of all the shape of the fruits are totally different.

Both cultivars are first class tasting, here in NJ, and I presume exceptionally good tasting in better warmer dryer climates with long Summer

Well l, It seem that someone here imported a plant from Europe and that was the name the person had on the plant label.
So the new name stuck,and  the plant is misnamed now.
It is very hard to get it right now.
The plant that is called Vasilika Sika here is Dalmatie fig.
Also Dalmatie fig is registred as " DFIC 0079 San Pietro" ,in US Germaplasm collection,at Davis California,another mistake

Do you have pics of the brebas of your Dalmatie ?
Brebas on the Dalmatie are supposed to be bigger than the maincrop figs .

My Dalmatie makes maincrops more round (some round, some a bit less, some pear-shaped) and less same looking figs - all with "veins markings" on the skin.

Yours is making them more pear-shaped and all almost looking the same... I don't know or own or owned Tena, but yours looks more like the pic of Tena from Bauds .

My Dalmatie Tree 1 is able to make another type of figs, that seem to be a replacement crop in case of the brebas fail ... But I only saw them once for now.
So I don't know what all the conditions are for them to appear ...

My Dalmatie does not make Breba here because the fruit buds freezes to death every year.
The shape and color differ a little because of the climate,but the leaves are finger like on all of them.
What you see in my pixies is main crop,and of course they look different than Breba!
