Can Fig grow in a hot Tropical Country like Malaysia?

Just found this informative Fig site. I was bitten by Fig bugs while on vacation in Turkey. Colleected some cutting from various part of Turkey, Acropolis, Troy & Istanbul.
I just learned that there are self pollinating / non self pollinating. Hence with an unknown cutting, I'm not sure if these shall ever fruit?

I do see some progress on the cuttings, hence am unsure if I should continue or discard.

I'm also at lost if fig grow well in Malaysia, as for the past few days searching, there are people trying / growing Fig in Malaysia.

Our weather.

All advise shall be appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.
Figs grow everywhere except maybe at the Polar regions, even there in controlled environments.  I have seen fig trees loaded with figs in Indonesia, India, Thailand, Viet Nam, and all through the Middle East, so I would assume you would be fine.

Greetings and welcome, here is a groups where you will find people in your country growing figs. There are also many on this forum...
