Can someone ID this Fig

As I got into figs, now I really need to know what I have, this is from a 20 year old tree which survived Sandy, submerged in 4 feet of saltwater, then it survived two harsh winters that killed the main trunks. After properly covering it and feeding it well, this tree is producing big delicious figs again.  I would also share clippings or even plants to people.

Does it taste refreshing, but not that sweet, with a nutty seed crunch?

Hi Peter

This is 'Figo Branco' from Madeira Islands....same origins as BM

This is pretty cool news! Two crops, the first are enormous. The taste is not too sweet, definitely has a bit of a crunch. Not very moist or honey like. The eye is pretty tight.

I think it looks like the fig Francisco posted.

I do have two potted peters honey, the leaves are definitely different from them.

Wow, survived submerged in saltwer AND two harsh winters? Thats some tree! Pretty figs!

I think Dave nailed it. Italian Honey, very popular variety been around many years.

This was the tree a few years before we were hit with Sandy, it was about 15 feet tall and full of figs, twice a year.
