If the tree is going to be set out I would set it out with its root ball tilted to straighten the tree as much as possible. Then stake with broad nylon straps to pull it closer to a strong stake. But I would not worry too much about it not being straight. When it grows it will fill out with shoots and branches My large tree is near globe shape and bears figs abundantly. It is about 16 feet tall and across. If you do stake tie with something broad and flexible and keep a close eye on it to prevent it from cutting into the trunk or branch being trained. You may want to plant one year and stake it the next after it is firmly rooted in the soil.
