Can you ID me,I forgot who I am #1

Hello Everyone, this a fig plant that has been growing unprotected for the last 8 years in northeast Ohio, can anyone help ID it? Only clues about it are the fruit is dark red to black, with red to deep red insides. It maybe called Catalina by Italians from the Campobasso area of Italy were it came from. Thank you, Mario

Yes,I do now!!!

Leaf looks a bit like Alma.

Leaf looks similar to Gilette.

I figured out who I am.....I am FICO VESUVIANA BIANCO....a white fig tree native to MT.Vesuviana near Campania Region near Napoli,Italy. THANK YOU MAGGIE !!!!!!!

Mario,

Why would a red fig with a red pulp be called Bianco? Do you have any pics of the ripe fruit?

Funny I thought the same thing. I have VB but no fruit yet. Slow grower for me at this point.  The leaves are very similar but my tree had a bad case of FMV.

Only reason I could imagine would be that whitish cast to the leaves...

Anyone know more about this fig variety?  Dominick, where'd you get yours?

Gender agreement: Shouldn't it be Vesuviana Bianca?
