I rooted my plant fall of 2009 and this is the 1st year I have sampled the breba and it was very good. Very Sweet and figgy great overall flavor.
How you going to post a pic of a half eaten fig like that Nelson.
Dan I thought of you and then i took a bite hahaha.Yummy yummy
I'm gonna tag you in every fb fig pic I post.
Lol hey don't do that.
Nelson, You are lucky that it ripened in dry hot weather. Expect it to burst open in wet humid weather.
Some of us would rather that you post a picture of a fully eaten fig. Now that would be a trick! Beats languishing figless and green with envy. Enjoy the fruits of your labor, and do keep posting. Show size, profile and eye shots.
Akram it's been the hottest year I can remember tasted extremely good. I never had issues with splitting because the squirls steal them before they are ripe but will keep a close eye on main crop as they ripen been extremely humid here. How about for you?Dale I too was looking at figless trees for a couple years and even now I am but a few are rewarding me.
DaleThere was a member last season who posted pics of eaten figs for a give away competition. Kind of amusing to me
