Vito,
Yes, I love Arthur Ave. I have supper at Dominick's, then cannoli and espresso next door. There is an Italian lady there who is renown for her singing. She reminds me of Martin Scorcese's mother. Then, I pop across the street for the sausages and cheese. You should have seen a Georgia boy trying to pronounce soppressata for the first time or two. It was not pretty. There is a great place in Marietta Ga, called the Cajun Meat company that sells Tasso ham, Andouille sausage, great BBQ rubs, hot sauces, etc.
I carry a soft ice chest in my suitcase with these items, give them to my family there in NY (Cold Spring), then return home with all the great Arthur Av goodies.
BTW, I have the Charcuterie book you mentioned and enjoy it a lot. This is another great book I bet you would love. You can preview at Amazon...
