Carne don Celia?

Hello newbie here!

Does anyone happen to have or know where I can find more info and a photo of the fruit and growing habits of Carne Don Celia? I am having a hard time finding one.
Thanks in advance

Welcome!

What is special about this fig?

Hello!
Thanks,
I saw it listed on the figcuttings website and found the name really interesting

Its not Don Celia, its "doncella" which means young lady in spanish. I doubt anyone here has any experience with it, its a rare spanish variety sold by Bass. Ask him if you want information, he is a member here.

I'm usually pretty good about labeling my figs. I have both mentioned. They seem to be very similar. I got rid of the Carne don Celia. Because I had to pick one and, I don't know.... I just liked the growth and shape of one a little better.

Thank you Rafael that makes sense it sure is an interesting name and thanks for the pictures Dan, no wonder I couldn't find a lot of information. Can you describe the flavor?

Thanks again!

Nothing really stood out for me on this fig. Kind of like Maltese Falcon I think another year of evaluation is needed

Cheers

Thank you!
