CdD Noir ID please

If anyone would be so kind please check out my CdD Noir on Ebay. Am I listing a CdDN not? I'll end the auction if needed.

I'd upload pictures here but mine are too big and I'm too dumb to pull it off.

Definitely not CDDN by those pictures. But as we know, leaf shape can change.

Thank you very much Brian. You're so right, leaves can change during the season. I just wasn't expecting those.

So my brain finally kicked in and I looked at my mother plant. The first leaves this yr lack the 5 lobes. But the last couple are just right, 5 full lobes. The fruit last yr seemed right so I guess I'm OK.

Your plant is true. Dont think anyone in all these forums would risk embarrassing and tarnishing their reputation for a few dollers.

This is exactly what I have observed for my own CdDN which I got through Gene Hosey.  The mother tree had 5 lobed leaves characteristic of the variety.  I took cuttings and for the first year, and part of the 2nd year, it had single lobed leaves.  Then it finally started transitioning to 5 lobed leaves.  It mostly has 5 lobed leaves now.  The fruit has all the characteristics of a CdDN fruit shown in photos.   So I wouldn't worry about your plant, especially if the fruit looks like that of a CdDN.

I think it's bad and you best send it to me for observation. :-0
OK, so it won't ripen here, darn!

I certainly won't on purpose but mistakes do happen. I know the cuttings are correct, ie from my mother plant but beyond that things happen.

Thank you.

Sorry Drew it's not on your wish list. Caught you there!

You have beautifully grown fig trees, obviously well cared for.

I too have noticed this leaf morphology in CdDN and especially CdDB, never quite to this extent, my guess is it's a temperature thing, or temp plus fertilizer thing.  I notice it more on early leaves, like now.

Don thanks a million for your input. I'll be watching for that on CdDB. Interesting and sometimes confusing plants these figs!!

My CDDN does the same thing.
Occasionally see suckers side by side one with single lobed , the other with more normal leaf.

Mine is doing the same.

I'm not sure how you can make this claim from the 4 pics on his auction?

Do you have any pics of the fruit?

This is how my cddn looks.

No pictures of fruit. I'll have to do better this yr. I like the pictures of fruit on the leaves.

Thanks for your input!
