CdDN

very disappointing tree. last yr and this yr also, it dropped all the figs. funny thing is, CdDB from USDA/UCD is doing great and giving me nice figs. not sure why it's dropping the figs. it might be due to my lack of care this yr, but all the other trees were equally neglected. will see how it will do in future, might go to trash can if it doesn't hold on to the figs next yr.

Pete,

I rooted one last year, it did not grow very much. This year it wanted to be temperamental, and did not grow nearly as much as the other trees from last year. It is just now (as the season is starting to wind down) starting to look healthy and put on growth. It seems as if this one is slow to grow roots, thereby slowing down the rest of the tree.

james, not sure what's with my CdDN. it grows fine, just won't hold on to the figs. BTW, i'm sorry i forgot about your email. Genovese Nero i have is bit different from one Rafed has. but it looks very close this yr. it's more like 3-4 bite fig. too big for one bite. but not sure about needing spoon like adriano said. :)
