Celeste breba?

I am not asking what it is just what its not for some reason I have it in my head that Celeste does not make breba.
If I am wrong then this is most likely a Celeste.
One of my clients has a fig that has brebas but does not have a red eye like BT.
Something keeps getting the fruit so I can't get a pic of ripe fruit but 2 years ago I picked about 50 fruit and from what I remember they were dark with red pulp.
Thanks
Jim

In my opinion, at least here in zone 7, I have never gotten a breba from celeste.  I don't mean to ripen, just never formed.  I have grown at least a dozen celeste strains.  Now I know that members have chimed in and said they get breba from celeste, but I think they are in the deep south.  But my problem is, if they get breba's shouldn't I at least get a breba start that may not mature?

Celeste does indeed produce breba figs. Apparently not all though. Here are pics of mine...

Not sure though on what you base your reasoning that if it doensn't have a red eye when immature then it must be a Celeste.

Thanks
Everything points to Celeste from what I remember except my thinking about brebas.
I know from the lack of red eye it is not a BT and its not likely anything uncommon.

I had a Celeste that produced a few breba figs every year, but sadly it froze to death!

I sent Jon some cuttings off it a few years back.

Looks like my Celeste is producing some breba this year due to the warm winter. I have not noticed them this early before. I am in what used to be USDA zone 7b. Hopefully no more freezing temps....

The pictures were take a couple of hours ago today.

I seen a couple, but for all intents and purposes, no they don't have brebas. Many varieties will make a very minimal amount of brebas, but that doesn't make them a true breba crop fig.
