WOW those trees are huge !! You're not going to have a front yard or view of your house either !! But that's not a bad thing - look at all those figs !!

Roxanne, WoW you gonna have some big time figs

Noticed the Malibu.

Nice!  Do you make Jam, pies - what else?

Now that's my idea of  a front yard!

Looks like prime time fig picking.

Nice trees, but there is still too  much grass.

Roxanne perfect yard figs car and truck.  You are really living the good life.   Now you just need to prepare for a fig only diet for about a month.  Shouldn't be that hard.

Hey, thanks so much for the friendly and funny comments. You had us rolling.
I keep telling my husband that we don't need grass ;)  I found a recipe for fig muffins, that is great, made a new recipe for fig cookies. celeste figs=no seeds.  We have some people who buy them.  I'm worried. It rained again today, and I noticed one of the larger figs was splitting on the bottom ;(
Also, the figs, weren't ready to pick today.  Don't think there's been enough sun for them to properly ripen. We are fighting to much water, and nature, and nature does what it wants.
We love the chevelle. It's a 69.

We have 27.1 Pounds in 3 days of picking
Minus the  3 or 4 lbs cooking
I like to use fig puree, and my favorite way to eat them is frozen.  They're kinda like a fig sorbet.
I'd like to make fig jam this year.  I have never done that, and wanna give it a try.
If anyone has any instructions for that, I'd love to hear all about it.
Thank all,
Roxanne
