Could someone  share information about Celeste Figs characteristic.
Does its fruit drop off before its mature..? I also heard that we have to wait 1-2 years  for celeste fig tree could producing a normal fruit .

Attached my 7 months of age celeste fig , the fruit always  drop off. prematurely.

Some Celeste drop fruits other do not.
I know a person in Texas,with a Celeste that produces over 1000 fruits and does not drop,so yes ,There are Celeste trees that do not drop,but many do.
It is a mistery and hard to figure why it does.

I got rid of all my Celeste because they drop their figs. I like it's taste but the dropping of figs is just not what I like. Celeste have been replaced by LSU variants like LSU Tiger, O'Rourke, Improved Celeste & Champagne. In your zone you can practically grow almost all variants.
