charity case

I'm pretty sure I overwatered some of my cuttings(Lsu Gold and Purple, Alma, Panachee, Sal's) that's like more than half my collection and it just so happens they're the one's I want to succeed the most. They were doing amazing too now they're wilting and the roots don't look good. This is my first time doing this but I'm beside myself nonetheless. I don't have anything to trade, but I'll gladly pay whatever I have to, I'm looking for more cuttings, the one's I lost would be best but I'll take whatever. I'd be forever in your debt if you could help, Luke.
P.S. It hurts just to write this.

Try putting a fan on them to dry them out a bit it might not be too late

Ouch!  Overwatering is easy to do, and it was my biggest problem last year.  Anyway, I have some LSU Purple that I can send.  PM me if you're interested.

Luke,
I think that I still have spare cuttings of LSU Gold and Alma (somewhere) in the fridge.
They will be coming your way shortly.

Hey Luke, I have a few cuttings left although none on your list, I sent you a pm.

send me a PM, I will send you one viable plant for insurance.

I could feel your pain as I was reading, very humbling because we have all been there. Feel safe to ask :-)

Jennifer

How old are the plants?  What size containers are they in?  Just wanting to understand what the conditions were.

32oz plastic cup with lots of drainage, light soil mix, 2 months old incide clear plastic bins.

Got your PM Lukie29,

I will send you a Florea plant with your name on it, no charge. I only ask for you to wait until the freeze clears up, say mid March or April. That way I can have a peace of mind that the plant arrives safely and unharmed. In the mean time I will take care of it for you, and post updated photos of your plant's growth.  I will also throw two extra scions I received from my friends which I am willing to pass on to you.

A lot of our members here go by the honor system, it's old fashioned but please do share what I sent you with other members so they don't send you double. I take compliment that you feel safe to ask us for help. I understand how over-watering can kill a rooted scion. We love our babies so much we literately "drown" them with love. The important part of the process is not about losing a cutting, its about what you learned from it.

Stick your hands in the dirt, and try again :-)

nice post jennifer!

I wish I could help, but last week I shipped everything I had.  It sounds like the generous members here have you covered!

Good luck this time!

You folks are too kind. Thanks a bunch, if there's ever anything I can do, or anyway to return the favor just let me know.

Lukie, if Marius doesn't have any extra Panache, just let me know, I can spare a couple more cuttings, still need to get that tree under control.  Just let me know :-)  Marius, that was very nice of you, btw.
