Chiappetta..AKA Cosenza

Here's one that looks nothing like the main crop. I had it growing in the greenhouse, so it didn't get that purple color. This was another good one for a breba.

I picked these two a couple days ago. I had to pick them a little early because of the bugs. These ones weren't bad for being picked early. You can see they get more purplish.

Boy they do look good!

Here's mine this year have a few figs in bags - I'm excited !!

I'll post pics when they get ripe.

Look great......just acquired the variety this year.

Hey Pat, That's a nice looking plant. The breba doesn't compare to the main crop, but it's worth keeping.

Of all the Chiappetta figs I ate this year so far. This one was the best.

Looks good. I am patiently waiting for mine . . . .

Dale, Try and leave them on the tree as long as possible. As you can see that last fig had a drop of honey at the eye.

It looks good Art. Nice solid inside with no void! That's a plus. My Chiappetta is off to a slow start from being so cold this part winter, it has just recently sprouted leaves. If I get anything at all it will just be a couple figs.
