Chiappetta Unk. Breba pic.

It could of used a couple more days but the ants had found it. The weird thing is how the breba and main crop colors are so different. The breba is more reddish and the main is a lot darker.
This fig was sweet and that's about it. We've had rain daily for the last week. I'm looking forward to the main crop. It's far superior.

Looks good Art. Looking forward to pix of main crop also.
My tree , thanks so much to you,  is growing very strongly! Yet another I'm anxious for fruiting.

Again, a huge Thank You to you Art.  The Chiappetta Unknown is growing great.  Much gratitude to you for finding this variety and introducing it to the community.  (I too don't have breba on this tree, but some mains, though with the late s[pring here it'll take a warm September to get 'em ripe).

This variety rooted great. And one even has figs in the first season. Thanks, Art.

Art,

Better weather is on it's way! My Chiapetta is fruiting, but nothing ripe -- yet. Looking forward to the taste test. Thanks.

Patti/Mike/John/Dale, I can't wait to hear about your plants when you get to try the main crop.
