Chicago Hardy in USDA ZONE 6b.

Hi,

I want to buy this plant and i have a one question.

Has anyone had ripe figs in similar climate?

In my area is colder because of the elevation and distance from the station.

Last year: http://meteo.kdwd.webd.pl/wxtempdetail.php?year=2013

This year: http://meteo.kdwd.webd.pl/wxtempdetail.php?year=2014

5280 feet +/- a few here and they do great. However we do get over 300 days a year of clear skies and sunshine.

I'm in 6a and I get ripe figs.

Adding to Lilli's comment. Steven Biggs has some nice YouTube videos. One of them is about an hour and half long, which I found very informative.

Thanks for your advice. ;)

I have a one question. Did any of you had a mature fruits (main crop) from Chicago (when started from the ground, or when survive winter and started normal). In USDA 6/7
