Merry Christmas, hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday season :)

It's also nice that the winter solstice is only a couple of days away, since that means our figs will soon start getting more sunlight each day, and next growing season won't be far behind (especially for those of us with passive solar greenhouses).

Merry Christmas to you too Vito and all of the great Members we have here...You know sometimes we all have spats with  people, but as a whole, this is a great group of people here (You know Great Minds Clash Sometimes) ...and I am very proud to call myself a member here....Oh yea, Happy New Year to y'all too..  :)

Good resolutions James. Rooting cuttings is crazy...You said "2) Get a Black Madeira cutting to root" is a resolution. Now, I have had good luck with rooting BM (except 5 old shriveling, bark peeling cuttings that I had to throw away), every BM has rooted. But I have given up on Native Black, I have purchased 12 cuttings in all and not one has lived. Others have an easy time with Native Black. Oh well, happy holidays to everyone.
