chores..

yesterday was great. 75 outside, sunny. i watered 1 gal pots and left them outside for some sun and to drain the water.

i should have done the same for the cups, but i got lazy. now i'm paying for it. the humidity bin is causing the leaves to have droplet of water. but if i leave the bin open for any length of time, the leaves are drooping. darn..

spend an hour going over each cutting and making sure the leaves are not getting too much moisture, and that there is no mold growing on them. cut few of the leaves off, trim some of the bud off.. spay peroxide solution on the soil if i think i see some mold.. yeah.. it's a chore, but happy one.

Yeap! It was great....wasn't it Pete? Man, this year, I'm ahead of schedule of my chores! It took me 5 years, but I did it. Saturday, I threw weed and feed. Sunday, I made 2 30gal full of my potting mix. Processed some cuttings and placed them in the fridge....won't be starting cutting until February. I also cleaned out my pool.

Taking a break from chores now.  Have all the address labels, all the fig cuttings labeled and wrapped, and now, on one of the coldest, windiest days in Southern California, I'm getting cuttings from our wine grapes to send to those I've promised!  Not fun!  Just came in the house for a warmer jacket with a hood!

What the heck? 75°F??? I want to do chores!

Brrr. Look at my weather

Well Jennifer, come on down. I need someone to rearrange 247 30gal trees. With 18 degrees outside....Please tell me your trees are protected. That's crazy cold! That weather reminds me of the days of living in Southern Illinois. No 70 degree weather today, but lots and lots of rain.

@dennis
I guess I am going to be hopping over someone's fence-lol

Don't shoot! It's me!

Your fig pal
