Hey Gene....have you ever come across a book called "The Cajun Night Before Christmas"?   The BEST book ever.  Seriously.   I remember reading it to my son's class when he was in first grade...he even dressed up as an alligator (left over Halloween costume), with a Santa hat on his head.  I even read it with a Cajun accent (well "Southern" cajun) to give it some effect.

Anyways---just wanted to tell everyone that 2011 has flown by and we all have a lot to be grateful for. I value the "fig friendships" that have been established since joining this forum.  Everyone has been most gracious and helpful and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I look forward to starting another New Year, and wish you all good health and happiness.   Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone.   Be safe.

Sara, The Cajun Night Before Christmas is a modern classic which everyone should read at least once. To many families it has become a tradition to read it every Christmas Eve to the children, no mater how old. Some carry the tradition forward even when the kids are grown up and then again especially when the grand kids start showing up on the scene.
