Close to the month of June & Risk of Frost tomorrow night !!

Forecast for our area:
" Sunday night, 26 May
Clear. Wind northwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming light near midnight. Low plus 3 with risk of frost."

More rains and nightly cold temps in forecast in the coming days. Not a good start to the fig season. Rains and low temperatures and slow growth. No pinching time here yet. I hope some of the brebas hold.
Thanks God, no tornadoes.

Same here
frost warnings for last night and next 2
figs shuffling in and out.
have done some pinching after 5 or 6 leaves,
one breba fig on one plant.

Akram you folks up North have been sending down the jet stream and now you ask for warm weather ?
You know what i say to that ?
Ok ok come Wednesday will push up so of our 80 degree temps if it arrives .
Just remember that favor come autumn going to need it extended here cause of this seasons cold spring.
All in fun and wishing you good health.  ; )

Crossing the fingers for no frost tonight.

My trees are all in the sunroom for the weekend. Best not to risk it. I took this picture last April at a nursery that wasn't so prudent.

Did I tell you last frost date is August?  Did you believe me?  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.  You laughed at me.

I feel sorry for you but ...

Told ya so!   :)

Frost warning here too.  I brought in the small ones, but I'm taking the risk on the rest.  It's too late at night for me to clear space in the garage to put them.  Will see how it goes.  Good luck Akram, Grant, Chivas... all you guys to the North.
